About Lily Lake

Lily Lake sits beside Highway 7 on the east side of the park, at 8,927 feet. NPS materials describe the Lily Lake Loop as an easy 0.8-mile loop with very little elevation gain, views of Longs Peak, Mount Meeker, and Twin Sisters, plus an observation pier and picnic tables near the trailhead.

For this project, Lily Lake is flagged as accessible. It is one of the most useful lake stops for visitors who want water, views, and bird or wildlife watching without committing to a long hike inside the Bear Lake Road corridor.

The NPS Lily Lake page describes an easy loop with very little elevation gain, plus views toward Longs Peak, Mount Meeker, and Twin Sisters from this Highway 7 side of the park.
